Hanimaadhoo Domestic Airport
The airport was opened by His Excellency President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom on the 28th October 1990 Operations started with domestic flights from Male' It is 45 minutes flight on fare weather from Male to Hanimaadhoo The population of Hanimaadhoo is 1019 in 1999 Medical and other primary service and facilities are available Technical details of Hanimaadhoo Length of airport is 1212 meters Length of runway is 4000 feet Width of runway is 100 feet Apron is 280 x 100 feet Taxiway is 150 x 50 feet Largest aircraft that can be accommodated are aircrafts not exceeding 30000 KG's
Male' International Airport
Opened on 19th October 1960 at Hulhule Island First flight which landed the airport was a Royal New Zealand Air force Transport Plane on the 19th October 1960 at 1355hrs The first Air Ceylon flight landed on the 10th April 1962 at 1550hrs. The first aircraft owned by the Maldives landed on 9th October 1974. The population of Male is 73833 in 1999 Medical and other primary service and facilities are available
Kadhdhoo Domestic Airport

Kaadedhoo Domestic Airport
The airport was opened by His Excellency President Maumoon Abdul Gayyoom on the 11th December 1993 Kadhdhoo is the airport and the total population of the total Atoll is 28456 in 1999 Medical and other primary service and facilities are available Technical details of Kaadedhoo Two turning pads of 4000 feet x 100 feet Taxiway is 20 x 40 feet
Gan Domestic Airport
